At Home in the Mountains

Towering at 5400 feet, Greybeard is the tallest mountain in Montreat, a pristine wilderness area neighboring Black Mountain. When the founder chose the name Greybeard in 1999, he did so to anchor his property management and real estate company to the beautiful surroundings of the Asheville area. 

Flash forward 25 years, and over 270 vacation rental properties later, Greybeard Rentals welcomes big-city dwellers, families, and anyone who is ready to escape their routine scenery for some fresh mountain air.

The team’s philosophy is to manage homes that they would be excited to bring their own families to visit. Rental selections include everything from idyllic mountaintop cabins to in-town bungalows with locations all over Asheville.
