Dine Safely in Asheville

Asheville-area restaurants and taprooms offer indoor, outdoor winter dining and takeout/delivery options, while keeping staff and customer safety front and center. In an effort to keep Asheville's community safe, guests should be aware of the following COVID-19 policies currently in place to help you dine safely and responsibly.

  • Face masks are required indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking.
  • Restaurants, breweries, wineries and taprooms must close at 10 p.m. and end alcohol service at 9 p.m. Takeout/delivery services can continue after 10 p.m. (if offered by the business) and some establishments now offer to-go or delivery alcohol cocktails.
  • Indoor dining capacity has been limited to 30% capacity; however, many restaurants provide takeout, delivery and outdoor winter dining options. Reservations are often required for indoor dining and guests are encouraged to call ahead as space is limited.

Thank you for your patience as you safely enjoy Asheville's culinary community!
