Time for Family Adventure in Asheville

Asheville: Renown for outdoor beauty and adventure started when visitors like Grove and Vanderbilt dreamed of sharing these beautiful mountains with their families.

Three generations of the Greiner family share that same passion today, approaching their 50th anniversary and offering forty family adventure activities daily at their 5 Wildwater locations.

Wildwater's Adventure Center of Asheville(ACA) is nestled on 120 acres just two miles from downtown, offering a variety of adventures for all ages. The ACA is an exciting adventure oasis designed to serve the whole family. The ACA prides itself on being the place where enthusiasts, first timers, and families with children as young as 4 come together to connect with each other, nature, and adventure. It's a place where you can shred the trails or learn to ride mountain bikes, zipline for the first or tenth time, ride a kayak and walk a tight-wire 25 feet in the trees.

Your youngest will love their first zipline at KidZip, designed for families with children 4-10. In fact, ages 4 to 84 (active or not) can zipline, challenge the adventure park, bike, and even go rafting. Rangers are available to teach and serve young and old; beginner and advanced; whichever adventures you choose.
