We’re thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant city nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Asheville is known for its thriving arts community, diverse outdoor adventures, rich history, and incredible culinary scene — the perfect backdrop for an exciting weekend of competition and exploration.

The Gala 2026 is a women’s gymnastics competition open to athletes of all ages. The event is proudly organized by three dedicated partners — Diane Thompson, Karen Pleasants, and Portia Propst — all of whom bring a wealth of experience as judges, coaches, and former athletes. Over the years, this annual event has grown into a premier competitive opportunity for gymnasts of all levels from across the Southeast and beyond.

The Gala team is committed to delivering a high-quality competition that’s not only well-run, but also fun and memorable for every athlete, coach, volunteer, and spectator.
