The best part of our stay was valet. Henry was super! BEWARE of dogs. They were everywhere. Typically we aren't opposed to them IF people keep the dogs to themselves. We had an encounter with one in the dining area--bit my husband! We chose to stay here because of proximity to Harrah's and also other attractions in walking distance. The room itself was well-appointed and clean but the dog encounter and the extremely sub-par food (and high priced) will mean we go elsewhere next time we are in Asheville.

Think twice--dogs and expensive food

The location is great! It’s a bit out of the main hustle and bustle, which means it’s super quiet at night, but still close enough to walk to downtown (it only took me less than 5 minutes to find some dining spots). A huge thank you to Valerie for welcoming us so warmly and making me smile. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly helpful and nice. The hotel is a bit older, but it’s kept clean.

Quiet Nights, Yet Just Minutes from Downtown!

The hotel room was very large and very clean upon check-in. The staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The bathroom was impeccable and the shower was huge! I could see views of downtown Asheville from my hotel room.

I’m not a light sleeper by any means, but there were a couple instances where noise from the surrounding interstate impacted my sleep. I would not recommend for a light sleeper. If a little noise doesn’t bother you. This is a perfect place to stay.

Nice little stay

Middlesboro, Kentucky

I had a flat tire on the interstate. Pulled off in a panic and found the first parking spot I saw. It was in the worst spot possible. I am not familiar with the area enough to know where to even park safely. The only option was the Indigo to not block traffic. Madison was working and she was extremely kind and helpful to me in a moment I was panicking. She allowed me a safe place to park while I waited for a friend to help me and the manager actually helped me to put air in my tires. I didn’t get his name but the staff here are absolutely wonderful people.  Madison didn’t make me feel ashamed or embarrassed and she helped me when I truly just needed a safe parking space. Book your stay here folks they will take great care of you, because they see us not just as customers but people.

Really lovely hotel.  The staff is fabulous; helpful, cheerful and very accommodating.  Rooms are spacious and immaculately clean.  Downtown is walkable from the hotel.  I absolutely recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Asheville.
