Meet in the Mountains
Asheville is calling you back again
Plan Your Meeting With Heart
Like the rest of our community, Explore Asheville has been heartbroken by the devastating losses from Hurricane Helene that our region has endured. And we are heartened by the gumption, grit, and people of Appalachia helping neighbors and opening their doors to welcome customers back again.
Almost all of downtown Asheville is open and ready for business, its infrastructure having remained largely untouched by the storm. Downtown shops, restaurants, galleries, artist studios and restaurants are open —alongside our neighbors in the towns of Weaverville and Black Mountain. South Asheville and the Asheville Regional Airport are open. Biltmore Estate has reopened and is welcoming guests for a holiday season of hope and reconnection. Meeting hotels and venues are eager to book meetings and group events for 2025 and beyond.
Be part of the comeback. Submit your RFP today and host your next meeting in Asheville. Our team is here to support your planning and help you plan a memorable event!
About Asheville
Getting Here
Asheville Regional Airport is fully operational, and major interstates, I-40 and I-26, are open with a few required detours. The route from Eastern Tennessee may look different. I-40 is closed near the NC/TN border. I-26 has reopened one lane in both directions near the NC/TN border in Erwin, TN. Best alternate routes add 15–30 minutes of drive time.
