Asheville on Bikes – AVL Unpaved​

AVL Unpaved is a popular gravel grinder ride series organized by the cycling advocacy group Asheville on Bikes, featuring scenic and challenging routes on the unpaved forest service roads surrounding the city.

* Asheville on Bikes was originally awarded a total of ​$188,355 in the 2022 cycle. The organization withdrew the Bacote Trail from the scope reducing the award by $36,650 in 2025.
