Appalachian Foodways: A Special Tour at Vance Birthplace

Get in the spirit of Thanksgiving by learning more about Western North Carolina’s food history and culture with snacks and cooking demonstrations along the way. You’ll see historic cooking demonstrations, learn food preservation methods used on the Vance plantation, and take home 19th-century recipes to try for yourself!

Appalachian Foodways Tours are offered at 10am and 1pm and will last approximately 90 minutes. Tickets are $10.70 per person via Zeffy.
