O Little Town of Christmas Cats
By Cat Kessler

Updated November 23, 2020
Welcome a little warm and fuzzy into your holidays this year with Asheville’s own Christmas cats. Santa has unleashed twelve Christmas kitties, and they’re here to help ring in the holiday season.
From decking the halls at Biltmore to viewing the National Gingerbread House Competition & Display at The Omni Grove Park Inn (virtual in 2020), there’s plenty for a traveling cat to do in Asheville during the holidays.
Take an enchanted drive through the Winter Lights show at the N.C. Arboretum. Tour the town on a red Gray Line trolley (not operating holiday tours in 2020). Go shopping for a unique gift at the historic Grove Arcade or at one of downtown’s many boutiques, like Hip Replacements on Lexington Avenue. Move to the rhythm of the city at the drum circle, and then cap it all off with a pint of beer (or milk!) at Wicked Weed Brewing or one of Asheville’s many craft breweries.
Special thanks to the Asheville Humane Society, where you can find many adoptable cats and other pets looking for their forever homes.
