The Outpost

is a craft beer bar and bottleshop located in East Asheville’s Haw Creek neighborhood. Rumor has it that the building The Outpost was once home to a stop on The Pony Express, hence its name. It has the charm and feels of an old hardware store and that old-world mercantile vibe is still alive and well. 

The Outpost is a neighborhood beer bar where you can sip and shop. There are eight taps of draft beer and a more extensive package list than in our other locations. Pick out a brew and browse the shelves and coolers full of hard-to-find hype beer and breweries, wine, mead, cider, and seltzer.
