Establishing Buffer Zones: By installing fencing to prevent livestock from accessing riparian areas, we create buffer zones that protect sensitive vegetation, prevent erosion, and minimize nutrient runoff into water bodies. These buffer zones help maintain the health and integrity of the riparian ecosystem.
Providing Alternative Water Sources: Offering alternative water sources for livestock away from riparian areas, such as our gravity-fed watering system, eliminates the need for animals to access streams for drinking water. This helps prevent degradation of riparian habitats and minimizes the risk of pollution from livestock waste.
By implementing these practices, we’re not only sustaining but also regenerating wildlife habitats and contributing to the overall health of streams and waterways. We believe that taking a proactive approach to conservation and responsible land management is essential for maintaining ecological balance and preserving natural resources for future generations.

We`re excited to announce the arrival of our first batch of turkey poults of the year! These chicks will initially spend approximately 2-3 weeks in a smaller enclosure, where they`ll be kept warm until they`re big enough to handle cooler temperatures. Next, they`ll be transferred to our mobile coop, where they`ll spend the next 5-7 weeks being rotated to fresh pasture daily. The whole process takes about 16 weeks total, though this can vary based on temperature and weather conditions.
