Wortham Center for the Performing Arts

Located in the heart of the Pack Square Cultural District, the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts is a three-venue complex comprising the Diana Wortham Theatre, the Tina McGuire Theatre, and the Henry LaBrun Studio. There is convenient off-street parking and numerous downtown restaurants within a block of the center. The Wortham Center offers live performances of music, theatre and dance throughout the year by nationally touring artists (the Mainstage Series) as well as a wide array of performances and events by more than 40 professional and avocational regional arts groups. Over 55,000 attended an event in the theatre in 2018, which includes over 10,000 students, teachers and parents from 16 counties in WNC as part of the theatre's education program, the Matinee Series. The Wortham Center for the Performing Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
