The Zuzu Welsh Band performed in the fall of 2014 to support the solo release "The Road Less Traveled", and in the ensuing 30 or so months have played over 210 shows in and around Asheville, in Knoxville, Nashville, the upstate of South Carolina, southwest Virginia and even as far away as Lakeland, FL. A second CD, "Fault Line", was released in the spring of 2016. Both CDs received favorable reviews and sold well for independent releases. The band in concert plays a broad range of material - not just the 25 or so original songs but in addition selected covers from artists as diverse as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dave Edmunds, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton and Queen. Comprised of Mark Kadowaki on guitar, keyboards and vocals; Johnny Haisman on bass; Dana Koone on percussion and vocals; and Zuzu Welsh on guitars and vocals, the band brings high energy and higher fun to every show.
