A short drive from Asheville leads you to a 150-year old farm. Step back in time to a quiet era when rolling farmsteads were etched into the Western North Carolina mountains. Here, migrating birds flock in the spring, wildflowers fill the fields in the summer, and the mountain views burst with hues of orange and maroon in the fall. It is a space that showcases harmony and romance — welcoming you to create connections and fulfill your dreams in front of friends and family. Conservation, Education, and Celebration: The Community Farm is a 100+ acre historic farm located 9.5-miles/20 min away from downtown Asheville, nestled into the foothills of Alexander. We have honored the land and our community by restoring 3,000 feet of a French Broad River contributory, creating a farmer incubator program, and establishing a space for environmental education.
