RendezVous owner, Michel Baudouin, grew up on a 200-year-old farm near Lyon, France. His mother had a reputation as a great cook; her way with a roast duck had neighbors and friends “coincidentally” dropping by at dinner time every Sunday. His father was the village’s premier amateur winemaker. After Michel's restaurant successes in both Dallas-Fort Worth and downtown at Bouchon in Asheville, he wanted to give something back to the community. When the opportunity to buy a demure church in Haw Creek came about, the idea for a little farmhouse-style restaurant bloomed into life. Come celebrate your wedding or rehearsal dinners at RendezVous, and be transported to a country farmhouse in France, the perfect setting for your upscale, yet casual event! Host your guests with a glass of our exclusive French wine from St. Cecile Les Vigne and enjoy a juicy steak au poivre and some decadent chocolate mousse, all in a welcoming and rustic environment.
