Posana is a contemporary American restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville on Historic Pack Square. Enjoy imaginative seasonal menus, showcasing the best of the region’s produce and products in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Posana sources premium ingredients from over 65 local purveyors and farmers and our own urban garden in West Asheville. Our bar offers innovative seasonal cocktails, local draught beers, and a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list. The menu changes regularly and seeks to accommodate a variety of diners’ needs. In addition to dinner service, Posana offers one of the only intimate event spaces in downtown Asheville and provides a wide range of private dining, meeting packages and special event options.

Since our inception, the philosophy at Posana has been to offer a seasonal menu that draws inspiration from locally available ingredients. We are fortunate to have strong relationships with local growers and producers that enable us to offer the freshest ingredients available in every season. Our partnership with the Appalachian Sustainable Agricultural Project (ASAP) and our connection to the WNC growing and food producing industry helps us emphasize the importance of operating in an ecologically conscious manner.

One of the only intimate event spaces in downtown Asheville, Posana® offers a wide range of private dining and special event options. Whether it be a rehearsal dinner, a business meeting or a large celebration in the whole restaurant, our events team will work closely with you to accommodate your ideal experience. Depending on the type of event you are holding, you may want to take advantage of our Hi-Definition Video, Dolby 5.1 surround sound and a 119” screen. We also offer Charter cable, Blu-Ray DVD, and a HDMI input for “big screen” laptop presentations. ?For larger events, Posana also offers the possibility of exclusive use of the restaurant. Here we can accommodate up to 110 guests and provide the full attention of our staff with access to our main dining room, patio and bar.
