A Family destination for a unique historic farm tour that includes a butterfly flight house, hops, limited blueberry picking in June, medicinal herbs, chickens and eggs, and stories about the last 212 years of family history. The farm is a strong advocate for sustainability using many native resources and "green" techniques, including a total solar array, composting toilets, gravity irrigation, using recycled building materials, composting, and animal and plant integration. They are also very involved with open pollination and creating habitats for native pollinators. Tours are regularly scheduled for Saturdays and special group tours, including schools, day camps, specialized hops workshops, birthday parties, and other events can be scheduled to accommodate the group. Be sure to check out their annual October monarch tag and release events as well as their August Hop Tour featuring samples of beer made from hops from their farm.
