Hood Tours is an interactive tour focusing on that resilient history and future in the arts, environmentalism and entrepreneurship. Tours spark grassroots economic development in Asheville’s historically African American neighborhoods, generate economic support for African American-owned businesses, while building on strengths intrinsic to the community that allow for self-determination and sustainability.
The tour van can accommodate up to 12 people at a time, or you can take a Walking Tour, exploring specific neighborhoods in Asheville. Tours can be scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays at 12pm & 3pm, on Fridays and Saturdays at 9am, 12pm, & 3pm, or private tours for an additional cost with each tour lasting 1.5 - 2 hours.
