• Dustin Spagnola is a painter of fine art and murals. Please visit his studio and gallery 474 Gallery Studio at 474 Haywood Road, West Asheville, NC 28806. This is in the super hip up and coming neighborhood of grimy West Asheville. Commissions are available upon request. All walls will be painted. Prints available for $50. Hand pulled, signed, limited edition and numbered in small batches. Local and sustainable. Spagnola is a contemporary visual artist who has shown and created work in NYC, Miami, New Orleans, Richmond, Atlanta, Detroit, the District of Columbia, Nepal, Japan and in his home, Asheville, NC. His work is often political in nature and eschews corporate advertising and graffiti culture alike. Spagnola's work shifts from abstract expressionism to representational art with a new message that both popularizes and memorializes some of America’s marginalized heroes. “I see a loss of important things,” he says. “The greatest disservice is to not think of everything that has come before us.” Spagnola’s paintings are both an homage to these icons and a study in human virtues.
