- David is a musician, an itinerant peace guy, a public speaker, a dad and husband, a lover of garlic, and a writer of books, poetry and songs. He's led over 2500 events (concerts, talks and workshops) on five continents and in all fifty states, and put out 12 CDs over the last 25 years. David is also a Rotary World Peace Fellow with a masters in International Studies, Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, the director of PEG Partners, a non-profit that supports schools and libraries in Guatemala, and the Clerk (chair) of the AFSC Nobel Peace Prize Nominating Task Group. His most recent album, The Other Way Around, came out in September, 2016. It features three-dozen musicians from all over the world, and guest appearances from Tim O’Brien, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Ed King, and members of the Steep Canyon Rangers.
