Foundation Forward, Inc., gifted the Charters of Freedom Monuments to the people of Buncombe County on May 25, 2015. Replicas of those on display at the National Archives in Washington, D.C., the monuments present your Charters of Freedom (the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights) in dazzling granite casings. The words of our Founding Fathers are etched in brass plates, completing the monuments' beautiful display. A must-see stop for everyone. Located at 35 Woodfin Street in Asheville.
