Buncombe County Civil War Memorial

Dedicated in 2001, the Buncombe County Civil War Memorial honors soldiers who served in the militaries of the Confederacy or the Union during the Civil War. The memorial is housed on the grounds of Smith-McDowell House, Asheville's oldest home.
