Asheville’s professional theatre devoted to creating works for children of all ages, ACA (Asheville Creative Arts) was founded in 2013 with the inaugural hit musical, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD, and incorporated in 2014 as a not-for-profit theatre company whose mission is to produce, present and create professional and innovative theater for children of all ages, from the very young to the young at heart. Asheville Creative Arts' 2015-16 Season includes a musical medley of Aesop's fables, DON'T COUNT YOUR CHICKENS UNTIL THEY CRY WOLF that will run March 4-6 at the Magnetic Theater (375 Depot Street); and HOW I BECAME A PIRATE based on the book with illustrations from No! David artist David Shannon, that will run July/August.
