Groups of 10 or more adults are invited to schedule a tour of the Museum's Collection or one of our special exhibitions. Our inquiry-based group tours, led by volunteer docents or Museum staff, challenge visitors to hone their observation skills.
Have a special request? If your class or group would like a custom-designed tour or program led by our Curatorial or Education staff, let us know! Please contact our Education Department at 828.253.3227 x122 for more details.
For self-guided groups: The Museum welcomes instructors to guide students through our galleries independently. For college/adult groups of 10 or more, the instructor must make a reservation at least two weeks in advance through the Education Department by calling 828.253.3227 x122. Groups with 20+ visitors may need to divide into smaller groups before entering the galleries. Please note that Museum-scheduled tours take priority over self-guided groups; your first choice of date and time may not be available due to gallery space constraints.
To request a group tour, please call our Education Department at 828.253.3227 x122.
