Archetype Brewing was founded in 2017 at their original location on Beacham’s Curve in West Asheville. As Head Brewer, Drew Kostic brews mindfully crafted Belgian and American-inspired beer with passion and a focus on local ingredients. In March of 2019, Archetype Brewing opened its second space in Asheville, at 174 Broadway. “Archetype - Broadway” isn’t an increase in production. Clad with hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and comfy seating, the second taproom provides a location close to downtown for patrons to enjoy great beer in a more intimate setting, as well as a venue for private and semi-private events.
The event room provides a private space for parties, weddings, meetings, or classes. Separated from the bar by a large sliding barn door, groups can choose additional event options from an a la carte “menu”. For larger groups or a more exclusive feel, patrons can also rent out the entire taproom and venue for their event. Archetype’s Event Coordinator will work with you on your event to personalize it for your needs, as well as provide recommendations for vendors, if needed.
