Addison Farms is a family owned and operated vineyard, winery, and tasting room situated on 55 acres in Leicester, NC. Located in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, 14 miles northwest of Asheville, NC, their elevation allows for nearly 360° of mountain views. Current varieties include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, and Petit Manseng. The property has been a tobacco and cattle farm for the past 75 years. Addison Farmer and his parents purchased the property in 1937; the Farmers purchased an adjacent property in 1955. Addison Farms Vineyard is a 4th generation family farm that Jeff and Dianne Frisbee are continuing to cultivate and preserve. In 2009, Addison Farms Vineyard planted the first acre of what is planned to be a 10 acre vineyard. The vineyard has expanded a little each year, currently at 5 acres. It is at an elevation between 2250' and 2300'. They completed their first crush in 2010, and opened the Addison Farms Vineyard tasting room in late 2012. Additionally, they are a wedding and event venue, and they offer several public events throughout the season. We welcome you to visit our tasting room and sample our wines Fridays and Saturdays 12-5pm and Sundays 1-5pm. Bring a picnic and enjoy a bottle of wine while you take in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain Views.
