Memorial Day Weekend with Elizabeth Higley + Chef Terri Terrell

Join Addison Farms Vineyard near Asheville for a Memorial Day Weekend collaboration with winemaker Elizabeth Higley and Utopian Seed Project Chef Terri Terrell for an all-weekend wine and food event benefiting the important work they do in equitable wine education and resilient, regional foodways.

Every day this weekend, come enjoy focaccia sandwiches featuring local ingredients, crafted by one of Asheville’s most thoughtful chefs, Terri Terrell of Utopian Seed Project. Pair them with wine spritzes featuring Demarcation Wine Co., made just down the mountain by one of North Carolina’s leaders in sustainable winemaking, Elizabeth Higley.

Sandwiches and spritzes will be available by suggested donation, and a portion of the proceeds will go toward Elizabeth’s Women in Wine Education Scholarship with Surry Community College’s Viticulture and Enology program and Utopian Seed Projects’ work toward resilient foodways.

This is a sweet opportunity to experience winemaking from the foothills, expand your local wine knowledge, and encounter Spring ingredients in new, unexpected ways.
