Johnny Haisman on bass; Mark Kadowaki on guitar and vocals;and Zuzu Welsh on electric and acoustic guitars and vocals. Together the band has over 60 years of experience playing original and classic rock, blues and roots rock music in front of audiences of all sizes.
In the past 30 months, the band has released two CDs and played nearly 170 shows from Nashville to Chapel Hill to Lakeland, FL and up into southwestern Virginia, with many appearances in and around Asheville as well (White Horse, Salvage Station, Oskar Blues and more).
Together, the band brings a tight solid sound to the stage with a keen ear towards adjusting to what the audience is enjoying, while presenting the mixture of cover and original material. With top-notch musicianship, well-crafted originals and a collection of cover tunes you are sure to enjoy, the band’s primary goal is for the audience to have a great time.
28 Pages are a paradigm of rock mountain soul with unique, musical elements. The band, from Western North Carolina consists of seasoned musicians with very diverse backgrounds. Blending a dual horn section, driving acoustic rhythms, and melodic vocals they create a colorful, musical tapestry. Their live shows often consist of well known selected cover material, as well as original compositions that compliment the artistic creativity of each individual member.
