Yin Yoga is a gentle and slow-paced style of yoga that involves holding poses for an extended period of time, typically 3-5 minutes or more. This practice physically focuses on stretching the connective tissues of the body, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than the muscles. Yin Yoga aims to increase flexibility and improve joint mobility for the body while also promoting relaxation and mindfulness for the mind, soul, and emotions.
Yin Yoga is held Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 and is suitable for students of all levels, including beginners.
