This year we are expanding our Gardening Series to cover all seasons! Get year-round garden guidance to support you in having your best year in the garden yet. You can purchase classes for the full year per season or as individual sessions.

Winter Classes | October – December

The year isn’t over yet! Sign up for our winter series to learn how to extend your harvest and prepare your garden for the cold winter. These classes will cover food preservation preparing your beds for winter and putting your garden to bed.

Putting the Garden to Bed for Winter - October 11th 6pm-8pm

Kelly will demonstrate some methods of tasks and tools for preparing your winter garden. She will explore easy soil building winter cover crops bed building and maintenance preparation to help your spring grow to get off to a great start! She will review goal setting to best prepare for winter growing seasonal extensional gardening and basic tool care. Come get your hands dirty sheet mulching and discussing mulching methods for nutrient optimization.

Food Preservation - November 12th 2pm-4pm

Brandon who taught our Garden Planning workshop in January is back again to show you the basics of food preservation. Canning root cellaring and drying techniques can all help keep your pantry stocked with homegrown food all year long.

Garden the Blues Away - December 3rd 2pm-4pm

Join Kelly as we wrap up the 2022 Gardening Series. As a follow up of October’s “Putting the Garden to Bed for Winter” Class Kelly will open the floor to the class’s reflections of growing this past fall. She will answer your winter garden questions winter goals and support you in lifting the winter blues through preparation of your plans for your 2023 garden. This event will include hot chocolate and cider for participants
