The tri-state area of the Blue Ridge Mountains has historically produced some of the finest bluegrass musicians in the industry, and ClayBank is a top-shelf example. Their name is taken from a community near West Jefferson, NC - it’s where the band’s founding members originally met, and a place that embodies the very spirit of the music they play. ClayBank began 2019 with renewed vigor, adding accomplished musicians Jason Davis, Jamie Harper, and Kameron Keller (veterans of Junior Sisk & Rambler’s Choice, the Highland Travelers, Blue Moon Rising, and more) to their lineup, and releasing Road Signs and Highways on Mountain Fever Records. With a nod to their traditional, hard-driving bluegrass and gospel music influences, alongside their own dynamic energy and original material, Road Signs and Highways signals the arrival of an exciting young band with a new, irresistible sound.

Our Tuesday Bluegrass Sessions. The sessions are hosted each week by a local bluegrass musician with friends or a band. Following the host band, Bluegrass musicians from the Asheville area gather on stage to jam in an open session. Occasionally, we feature a touring band that will perform prior to the open session and help co-host the jam. It's always a great evening of music and community.
