I am excited to announce a new yoga class in Candler! Join us for a practice that focuses on calming the nervous system & listening to what our individual bodies and minds need in the moment. This class is suitable for all-levels and offers many modifications to make your practice more gentle or more advanced. My classes offer a laid-back & light-hearted atmosphere to explore your yoga practice. Create a Sunday routine that revolves around self-care and providing a moment for yourself to let go, reflect, & calm your mind. I will have blocks & straps available for use. Please bring your own mat, water, & any other props you love to add into your practice. This is a pay per class and offers sliding-scale payment options from $15-$20. If you have any financial concerns please reach out & we can chat about some options! About me: Hi! I am Becca! I have been teaching yoga for 6 years and I have been practicing for 15 years. I approach my classes in a laid-back manner and aim to create a space of comfort & light-hearted, ease. Safety is a top priority and I make sure to provide modifications for all poses and walk through all of the available variations. My classes generally include a variety of breath-work practices, gentle stretches & warm-ups, a bit of movement, & a long cool down. I have a passion for learning about the nervous system and often include nervous-system soothing techniques to help connect more deeply to ourselves & our practice. Outside of yoga I am a student at UNCA and will be graduating in the spring with a degree in Psychology. I live on a horse farm with my 2 dogs, my cat, & my horse.
