Summer Lights is an outdoor summer concert series and projected-light show held in The North Carolina Arboretum’s Outdoor Events Amphitheater. Open nightly from August 2 – 6, 2017, from 9:00 – 10:45 p.m., guests will enjoy a specially designed projected-light show displayed against the Arboretum’s woodland forest that is synchronized to music performed by the acclaimed Blue Ridge Orchestra and conducted by Milton Crotts. Event proceeds will help support the Arboretum’s programs, exhibits and facilities year-round.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for children (ages 5-11) and all Arboretum members receive $2 off each ticket. Seating in the Amphitheater is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests may also bring blankets or chairs to set up above the Amphitheater. Gates will open at 8:00 p.m. and the show will begin promptly at 9:00 p.m.
