The Rooting and Rising series is designed to help you learn about and tend your nervous system, to feel connected to a community with the same intention of slowing the pace of life in order to live more fully, and to cultivate a more natural rhythm of action and rest, coherent with the natural world. Offered twice in the year, we will focus more on rooting as the leaves fall and we tend our inner fires, and rising in the spring with creative energy to feed our outward expression of vitality.

What is Included:
six 90 minute classes (every two weeks) with similarly intentioned community
learn how to listen to the language of your body
slow and drop into greater awareness of the present moment with mindfulness practices
explore yoga movement that can be incorporated into your daily life
understand the functioning of the autonomic nervous system, reducing shame around personal patterns and creating more room for choice
set actionable goals for daily routines that center on your individual needs for health and wellness
calm anxious thoughts by learning to orient to safety, the here and now, the body, the breath, and the natural world
option to continue to the Rooting and Rising day long Retreat with other participants (Date TBD)
option to work with Sommerville for the duration of the three months to individually integrate all that you are discovering! This will upgrade your experience to an R&R Package, with an additional cost of $960 (for six individual sessions)
Whereas most Aspen Roots Collective retreats are designed for groups of women, this series is open to adults of all genders
