In celebration of the NC Woodfire PreHeat festivities, Sarah Wells Rolland will be demonstrating her techniques for throwing large, mulit-sectioned pottery. The demonstration event will begin at 11:00am on Satuday, May 21st at The Village Potters Clay Center in the historic River Arts District. While attending the demonstration event, be sure to see the special "Kazegama Women" exhibit and sale in The Village Potters' gallery, featuring works fired in our Kazegama Wood Ash/Soda Ash kiln by Sarah Wells Rolland, Lori Theriault, Julia Mann, Judi Harwood, Katie Meili Messersmith, Christine Henry, Ruth Fischer Rutkowsky, Karen Dubois, and Lindsey Mudge. Special invited guest Jim McDowell will have work on exhibit as well. Gallery is open daily from 10am-5pm.
