Pete Candler Presents A Deeper South, An Evening of Films from the Road

Author, photographer, and filmmaker Pete Candler will present his films from the road on October 2nd at The Grail Moviehouse. His films reflect his passion for the South and its history of complex beauty and horror. His artistic sensibilities are grounded in the belief that the spiritual, cultural and political health of a nation, region, city, town, or person depends upon an honest and unflinching memory. Doors open at 6:30. Event begins at 7:00. Concessions will be open. His recent book, The Road to Unforgetting will be available for purchase.
