Open Folk AVL

Open Folk is a hand picked and curated weekly musical showcase that features six local artists or groups playing three songs each. There are four rules to Open Folk: the space must be beautiful, the musicians incredible, the sound pristine, and the crowd must respect the artists by giving them their undivided attention and quiet. A quality event featuring a quality audience. It is donation based $5-$20 dollars, but no one will be turned away. We aim to create a space where everyone is welcome and can listen to beautiful music no matter their status. We also feature a different local artist each week and have a community board to allow our attendees to connect to one another. We would love to have you join us!
