Guided beginner-Intermediate outdoor yoga and meditation class surrounded by nature.Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. We will meet in the parking lot and enjoy a brief walking meditation through the beautiful botanical gardens before flowing through 75 minutes of traditional Hatha yoga in a secluded, flat grassy area surrounded by trees. These classes are held rain or shine as there is a covered cabin porch area where we can practice if it is raining or if the ground is too muddy. Afterwards: You are free to head back to the parking lot and leave or stay and explore more of the gardens.A significant portion of every class goes directly to the Botanical Gardens at Asheville, a non-profit that relies completely on volunteers, donations and memberships. Positive physiological and mental benefits of both yoga and reconnecting with nature have been reported including reduction of pain, stress and inflammation as well as better sleep.In the event of cancellation due to weather, you will be issued a refund.
