“More Than A Survivor: More Than A Story” is a photographic exhibit featuring a series of stunning portraits of 22 women from across the country who are all SURVIVOR LEADERS, after surviving commercial sexual exploitation (CSE) and domestic trafficking. This exhibit, organized by GEMS and photographed by J. Shotti, honors the diversity, beauty, strength, and accomplishments and celebrates their present and their future.
Each photograph and story is an uplifting and powerful antidote to the stereotype of sex trafficking victims existing perpetually broken and forever limited by their trauma. This traveling exhibition is designed to inspire a tangible sense of hope and future for commercially sexually exploited and trafficked girls and women.
Exhibit on view at aSHEville Museum.
