When you truly immerse yourself in nature, the busy and hectic outside world begins to fade away, allowing you to slow down and appreciate the present moment. On this 3 day/2 night trip we will incorporate mindful practices as we dive deeper within ourselves while taking time to appreciate this diverse and beautiful national park.
We offer a truly unique experience combining meditation practices along side our guided backpacking trips. We'll spend our first night at a base camp in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains, giving us time to teach you the backpacking and meditation skills you'll use for the weekend. We'll do a day hike on our first day, which will focus on silent meditation so that you can truly immerse yourself in your surroundings, becoming aware of the forest smells, the animals and birds moving among us, and our own place in nature. On our second day we'll put our new skills to use and and backpack 3-5 miles to camp. Once we get to camp and set up, you will have the opportunity to participate in mindful, soul centered work, as well as time relaxing by the creek or in your hammock.
Whether you're a beginner or experienced in backpacking & meditation, this trip will strengthen your outdoor and spiritual skills. We will guide and teach you backpacking and meditation basics, spending time away from our devices and connecting back to our souls.
