Jonathan Richman has been playing music, recording and touring for most of his life. Jonathan and his drummer Tommy Larkins win fans wherever they play. In the early 1970s, Jonathan formed the noted band The Modern Lovers. Tommy Larkins was in the groups Naked Prey, Giant Sand and other popular bands in Tucson, Arizona.
Her new project Venezuela, produced by Rain Phoenix, is a tribute the folkloric songs of her home country. These songs are dedicated to Venezuelan people, fighting where ever they might be, for democracy and human rights. This is a celebration of our culture from the voice of a ex-pat yearning for home.
She has appeared as part of the backup chorus on the R.E.M. album Monster and has been a featured or lead vocalist in several bands (NDolphin, Sumac, The Causey Way, and now Producto).
