This two part class will teach you all the fundamentals that you'll need to know in order to pair the right yarn with the right knitting needles, cast on, and knit your very first project. The second part of the workshop will cover the purl stitch, and casting off. These skills are the basic ingredients to any knitting project, and you'll be able to build on these for years to come. Class fee includes a skein of yarn made here at the fiber mill, and a pair of Twin Birch knitting needles for your very own. No experience required; this is the perfect class for absolute beginners! About the Teacher, Christina is a knitwear designer from Asheville, NC.
