Gentle Yoga and Yoga Nidra

Join us for the this deeply relaxing class.
We will begin our practice with gentle breath centered yoga movement followed by the yoga nidra practice.
Yoga nidra is a deep guided meditation similar to the relaxation we do at the end of a yoga class. This meditation deeply relaxes the body and relieves stress and tension; sometimes called yogic sleep because it induces a state of mind that is between being awake and being asleep.
The practice of yoga nidra allows us to more fully integrate and open our physical, emotional, mental, and psychic layers of being. As we reach for our deeper layers, we can plant the seed of Sankulpa (Intention).
