In this workshop, artist Jocelyn Mathewes will teach adults to create beautiful blue botanical prints using cyanotype, the oldest photographic process. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have at least three pieces, on paper and fabric, to take home, as well as the knowledge to make their own cyanotypes. Mathewes is an artist working in mixed media and photography. For more about her, visit Participation is limited to 12 students. All materials are provided, but students are encouraged to bring interesting botanical specimens from their own backyard to use in their art.
