Body Love Workshop

Have you ever been in a yoga class and felt that certain postures or transitions were out of your reach? Have you been wanting to try yoga (especially flow classes) but felt too intimidated to start? Are you recovering from an injury or have a larger body and don’t know how to modify your practice to accommodate your body? If you answered yes to any of these questions, join Melissa Dixon, RYT-200 and Yoga For All Certified Instructor, for a yoga workshop focusing on how to find a practice that works for YOUR body. This workshop will include a discussion of yoga and body image, a breakdown of different postures and transitions using a variety of props, and putting practice into play to find what feels good for you. By the end, you’ll discover a yoga practice that is uniquely yours for your body, and enter any class feeling more confident and knowledgeable. Space is limited
