Blue Ridge Mountains in Watercolor with Local Artist Casi Fordham

In this class, you’ll experience the wonders of layering transparent colors to create images of the Blue Ridge mountains or other landscape. 

Casi will share tips, tools, techniques, & demonstrations as you learn the art of painting w/ watercolors. You will begin w/ a step-by-step watercolor demo, you will warm-up by practicing some foundational skills, then transition into landscape painting. You will be guided in exploring basic techniques, breaking down the elements of a landscape & building values. 

Please bring a reference photo as a visual muse (magazine, or photo from a hike, a mountain-scape; beach, meadow, forest, or anything that captures your heart & eye, to use as inspiration).

A light snack & glass of wine will be served.

All materials included. No experience needed.
