Black History 101 Mobile Museum and Lecture by Founder Khalid el-Hakim

Khalid el-Hakim, founder of Black History 101 Mobile Museum, will give a public lecture in the Blue Ridge Room of Highsmith Student Union on Wednesday, October 23, from 12:00 p.m. to 1 p.m. The museum, a traveling tabletop exhibition curated by el-Hakim, contains more than 5,000 items spanning from slavery to hip hop. The museum will be on view from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
