Bespoke Block Printed Gifts: Carve & Stamp on Hand Dyed Fabric w/ Local Artist Jessica Kaufman

Holidays are coming up soon! The first half of class will be devoted to understanding the fundamentals of good design, layout, & carving out of any simple image you would like. We will then spend about an hour printing with your stamps, each others’, & the instructor’s collection. Each student will be provided with two hand dyed cotton tea towels, or a tea towel & one canvas tote. Please feel free to bring one item of clothing to make more magic w/ your home collection. Solid, light colors work best! 

You will leave with your own unique hand-carved stamps to use again & again in your art projects (collage, mixed media, future fabric projects, etc)

All materials included w/ class.

Optional: you may bring a garment from home to print on if you like. Please wear clothes that can get dirty!
