Through creative movement, restorative play, mindfulness, therapeutics, and self-expression this series helps children increase mind and body awareness, strength, flexibility, focus, and creativity. Children will learn tools for self-regulation, build social-emotional skills, and practice a variety of breath-work and mindfulness techniques to use throughout their daily life. We will use art as a means to expand and deepen this practice as we explore a variety of art mediums. Our artwork will be inspired by what we experienced through our meditations, visualizations, breathing exercises and yoga poses. This combination of Yoga & Art helps to guide children in self-exploration and self-expression as we get to know the world with-in and around us. All yoga and art supplies provided.
