Happy 200th Birthday, Frederick Olmsted! Share with Steve Frowine, horticulturist, author guide and raconteur, a celebration of the great achievements of Olmsted from the inside out as you discover his “Genius of Place.” Olmsted’s deep-seated beliefs and noteworthy actions formed the foundation of his work as America’s first landscape architect encompassing 81 years as a writer, adventurer, farmer, businessman and finally to the founding of the new field of landscape design. His contributions like Central Park, Biltmore Estate, Niagara Falls and more bring insight to the beauty and art of landscape architecture.
